Default HK417A5 handguard front flip up sight

I just purchased an HK417 kit from Brownells. My handguard is missing the guts for the flip up front sight.

Does anyone know of a source where I can find the replacement parts?

Am I misreading something on their side? It looks like they cannot ship parts to the U.S.

No, your correct. Unfortunately it's nearly impossible to order any gun parts across the Atlantic Ocean, whether from the US/Canada to the EU or vice-versa. Even things which shouldn't be a problem, such as the stock or handguard for a rifle, no store wants to risk selling them and shipping them across the Atlantic.

    Interesting site.

Is this the company that sold the 416 lowers to Brownells?

Yes it is. The forged blanks that Bownells had finished here.

Thanks to everyone who reached out for ideas and solutions. I now have a front and rear folding sight set installed. Much appreciated everyone.

So I’ve mated one of these “forged“ lowers to a 416 upper. Just looking for more history on why these lowers arrived in US. And if I may, what lowers are stamped vs forged?

Hooked up both and ran smooth.
