    Default MR762 barrel tool mark

Pretty new to the mr762 platform. It recently bought a used one and cleaning it I found this. Looks like a tooling slip. Anyone have any insight ?

It is part of the OTB feature if I’m not mistaken. Notice how it orients towards the Bolt Support Pin.

Could someone PM. I have some 416 questions and I’m meeting someone today to check an upper out. It’s a 2008 priced at 3800. Is that reasonable?

Yeah as stated above, I’ve seen posts on that before. That is not a tooling mistake. It is normal. Others here might have more knowledge on its purpose but there is nothing wrong with your mr762

416 uppers have been selling for really high prices lately. I just watched one sell for over $7k a couple weeks ago and it was used. That price sounds plenty reasonable. Plus, someone told me there is a new end user agreement with HK so 416 uppers are getting harder and harder to come by. I would say if you want one then buy sooner than later.

The MODS will probably move this to the Premium Section https://www.hkpro.com/forum/hkpro-ho...le-review.html--- no PM's until 5 posts.
