I own and shoot the first Gen LRP Package. All MR762's are great rifles. However the LRP package is just stupidly expensive. Just get a standard MR762, G28 Stock($500), pelican case ($250) and your choice of optics. You'll be just as happy and with the cash you've saved you can take a class or buy a boat load of ammo, or maybe a 100 rds at today's prices.

    Good luck.

There are some cheaper LRP options out there especially if no Tax and no CC fee. I would say you would be hard pressed to build that exact gun/hk case etc for $6500

Double? Idc one way or other but to duplicate think my numbers are pretty close. HK makes it easy in a convenient right out of the box package, you could factor in the cutting of the foam, cerakoting the handguard.........

MR762A1 w/Black MLOC $4000 (Not sure where you are going to find a Ral MLoc)
    Viper Scope MSRP $1200
    ScopemountGuesstimate $150
    Harris/Larue $220
    G28 Stock $500
    Blue Force Sling/mount $25?
    Otis cleaning kit $75
    Extra mag $50
    Pelican NOT marked HK $260
    Ral grip $50

Caf is right. In 2020 you can't get a vanilla MR762 at 70% of MSRP so it's much closer in price now.

I agree...skip the LRP and look for your preferred optic...if you want to go heavy and long range and keep cost down, look at the Vortex Razor 4.5 - 27 on a Geissele mount. It will add 3lbs but great scope for old eyes. If you want to stay lighter and closer in, I like the Vortex Razor Gen III 1-10 (as you can see I like the higher magnification). Also, the Atlas bipod is much better than the Harris. Take the extra cash and order an OSS HX-QD 762. You should come in close enough to same price (including the tax stamp) and shooting the MR762A1 suppressed is sweet....feels like you are shooting a 22 and has improved accuracy.
