Ineptocracy (in-ep-tocí-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least
capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed are rewarded
with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

I reached out again when I heard he had sent some refunds and pistols. He finally refunded my payment for a P10... just took three years!!

Never bought anything from him. I was trying to see if he can acquire me a USP Match 9mm via eguns.de but I never received a reply. I have a suspicion that he was alerted to my alert and probably bought it without letting me know.

I figured that if he was not replying to my 3 sent emails, he was not interested nor had the customer service capacity to meet my needs.

What would that investment be worth today if you had put it in the market?

A lot more than a refund.

I can see why it is so hard for HK to import guns, after all it took Marc three years to fail.

    Folks,
Let's try to stay focused on the issue at hand and leave the commentary for another time and place. If you have facts to report, please do so.

    • Did you receive a full refund? Post it.
    • Did you receive a partial refund? Post it.
    • Have you received no refund? Post it.

I found this thread researching Marc DW. I had a strange experience with MDW. I had bought five Walther PP Sports in Germany in early December and asked the seller to send them to my German exporter. It happens, that that exporter had worked with MDW a few years ago but discontinued the business relationship.

The German seller saw my U.S. address and, without my consent, sent an email to Marc, who promptly called me and asked if he should import the guns for me. I told him that I have applied for my own FFL08 and it was approved, I am only awaiting the government shutdown to end before it will be issued and that I would import my guns myself with my exporter. Early January I had found out that my guns were rerouted and I emailed the vendor.
The German vendor replied that Marc had asked them to send the five guns to his exporter instead of my own. I caught this on time and have the seller and Marc's exporter work it out.

In the meantime my exporter has received the five guns and I have been contacted by Marc Wagner, who told me that he had not asked the guns to be rerouted. There is indeed a very big chance that the German vendors, Mr & Mrs. Engelhardt have used the story to cover up their own mistake. In the first place, Europe has very strict laws against forwarding personal data to a third party without consent, they did that and probably just continued their mistake, assuming that Marc's exporter and his importing service would be used, dragging Marc into their mess. Anyway, his exporter has fixed any mistake that was done.

Funny I saw this. Two years ago I paid him a little over 2k to import a USP Elite 9mm. Month after month I was told it was coming. After hearing some stories on this board I gave up. A few weeks ago I thought, "let me try him again". Long story short, I ended up with a USP custom sport and an $800 refund. He called me on the phone and was very nice. Clearly, something is not right but in the end I am happy, but 2 years is nuts. I do give him credit for finally responding to me and getting me a pistol:)
