Hats off to Mike Otte for such a beautiful SBR conversion to MP5-N. Mike installed one of my Fleming sears last year into the burst pack, but for this gun, I chose to SBR it on a Form 4 so I can legally move this pack between other clone hosts.

Congrats! MM Is the best in the business when it comes to HK94 conversions - I absolutely love mine. Your serial number Is about 400 less than mine, was yours a DOJ/DOC rifle?

I don't think mine was a CA DOJ gun; no markings of any kind to indicate it was a DOJ rifle. I got it off GunBroker over 5 years ago and it sat collecting dust; never fired it. I believe Tony mentioned the DOJ guns were all imported somewhere after 1990, but I may be wrong.

CA DOC will be date-coded as IH (87), II (88), IK (89), and KB (91)--- no KA (90) imports!!!
While some have no markings (electro-stenciled "rack numbers"), they can be distinguished by the rear sight ("u-notch", or "castle", as on the SP89) and A2 stock--- CA DOC specifications--- however, these parts can be replaced.

Here's my Zenith Z5RS. Currently waiting for my stamp to come in so I can throw a stock on it and start having some real fun!

Thanks! Was trying for that "90's operator" type look. Just need to decide fixed or sliding folder once the stamp gets back.
