I have collected a handful of XM8 related items over the years. I finally finished framing and displaying these items in my home. The "XM8 corner" if you will. I thought I'd share some photos and information for anyone who has an interest in this bit of HK and US Army history.
Framed promotional poster, flyers, and Small Arms Review with an article featuring the XM8.
XM8 promotional hat, next to promo brown XM8 pin.
Pictured here is an XM8 bumper sticker and promotional poster.
This is an XM8 magazine, as indicated by the stripper clip spoon channels on the sides.
In the curio cabinet is an XM8 draft operator's manual, XM8 sling, Insight XM8 optic reference card, and a gold promo pin.
Of course no XM8 collection is complete without an XM8 (Well, something close to a real XM8 that is)
Here's a thread with photos of the Tommy Built Tactical XM8 / SL8-1 conversion for those interested:
Since the RPG-2/B40 partially made it into a few shots, I figure it worth showing too, where it resides at the ready to defend my XM8 items from any trespassing tanks.
Thank you for the interest!

Very nice collection & display; jealous.
On another note, where did you get that hat 'condom'?

Under $20 shipped which is not cheap for what it is but it does the job well. It has a supporting “dome” on the inside that keeps the hat in the right shape. It was crunched up by being stored improperly before I bought it from the same guy I bought the bumper sticker from.
very nice...thanks for sharing.
But how come you don't wear the hat? It's too nice to just sit in a hat "condom"!
