Is an AB date code. Original case. All serial numbers match. Slide has holster wear but barrel and barrel hood are like new. Came with 2 8rd mags and two holsters. First 50 rounds were flawless, but can't say the same for this shooter. The 45 will take a little getting used to. Anyway, a sound addition to a growing collection.

    Thanks again Tony.

That looks fantastic! I was never really wowed with the performance of the Match factory weight, but that one looks like a beefy piece of steak. Report back when you get a chance to try it out!

I have a Match 9mm, too. I find the Merkles' design to be better. It's less front-heavy and tipsy and feels more integrated with the gun. Particularly on my Expert, it almost handles like it's just a nice solid steel USP.

This Omega Match Systems unit is cool because inside the steel exterior is a cavity where you can put either an aluminum or brass weight (both included) to adjust its balance and handling to your preference. I have the brass one in there for maximum heft at the moment but I could see switching to aluminum, too.

Mine is the 45 version but I share that sentiment. Front heavy with a very bolt-on feel. Seems like the mass being shifted back a little would make a lot of difference.

I parted with this beauty some time ago, but I figured it should live on in the USP Gallery. Slide and Jet Funnel done in NP3

Went to the range with my father yesterday. The man who got me into shooting to begin with.

This is the handgun that started it all. My first HK and first handgun Period.

There are 4 pieces of brass in the air in this photo and the gun in chambering another round
