Just wish Streamlight or preferably SureFire would make a high output light that mounts directly to the USP.
    Cool pic!!!

I had the factory barrel reamed by a local gunsmith, who had to purchase carbide reamer/bits to do the job and said it was difficult. I also installed an 18lb recoil spring, which is working fine with 'hot' 10mm (Underwood, Buffalo, Sig).

The reamed barrel works fine, but it's necking down my brass a bit (pic) (underwood 155gr & remington 180gr pictured) and although these resize fine in my RCBS .40/10mm dies, I'm not confident about reloading these 'hot' - I am new to reloading, I could be worrying over nothing. I'm on the 'list' to buy one of the 10mm threaded barrels from hk21man when they become available, and will see how that performs.

For mags, I'm using modified HK45 12rd mags along with file/sanding/polish work on the USP magwell for a smooth fit and drop-free operation (credit to @jasonheimerm 10mm thread)

Modifications to the mags are: slight widening/opening of the notch at the top of the mag (pic) and a trimmed HK45CT/USP45CT 'elephants foot' baseplate (pic) -- factory mags work best, but the cheaper aftermarket HK45 mags work but they require some additional sanding/polishing around of the mag body for drop-free operation (their mag release latch is differently shaped)

I have a jetfunnel kit and some taylor freelance hk45 +3 baseplates that I think will fit together decently as well, hopefully will test that out in the next few days.

It's a really nice shooter! Not too harsh even with stuff like Underwood 135gr/1600fps or 200gr/1250fps hardcast.

Well, It should have been my 1st pistol with in 94’, but, I went down a road of Glocks and 1911’s, until I got the Hk sickness after I purchased my 1st of 8 Hk45’s In 2013 n 5 HK45C’s to follow n dabbled in P30’s... had a small detour of an imho not so HKish VP9, ... And now finally got my 1st of more to come USP’s..went to LGS w/my son to buy his Xmas MR556 n Couldn’t resist a great deal in front of me in...
Took it out for a maiden voyage in the snow in 23 degree weather w/sun in my eyes and ran a perfect 36.37, advanced 8 inch plate and turn and I burn from the 50, 30&20, all with the **** sights that it comes with... With Dawson inbound n a possible match Trigger upgrade down a the road this one has threat potential to my beloved HK45 series...no buyers remorse here! Just gotta find out what options are available in Safariland so I can put it in the rotation.CHEERs

It's an old Surefire 309R that I picked up a 6v bezel for. I'm just missing the locking plate to secure it around the trigger guard, so it's still a project.

USP .45 Tactical (DA/SA) with steel match weight / compensator from matchweight, sightmark dovetail red dot sight / with a vortex venom (3moa), match trigger kit (came with the tactical) with wolf light TRS, wolf 10lbs hammer spring, and wolf light FPBS. Oh, also in the picture, 20 round extended magazine, which contrary to some reviews, I haven't had any issues with at all. Picked 2 up and I'm considering grabbing a few more. :)
