Is the USP with the Osprey a 9mm? If so how do you like it? I'm debating on which supressor to get for my SD.

Do you have confirmation of this? I'm just curious because I was under the impression that they manufactured the .40 first, then the 9mm. Also this pic from HKPro shows a KD 9mm with a serial of 22-051. It has the same date code, and a 22 prefix.

They did make the .40 caliber USP first. I bought one when they were first shipped into the US back in 1993. I do not still have the USP unfortunately. The serial number on it was 22-151.

Your picture didn't show up, you used the wrong hyperlink. You have the link to the page itself with the IMAGE codes in front and after it. You want the image link itself, like so:

Thus, it produces this with the IMAGE codes:

I did not ask HK for more info on the gun (yet). In my opinion, the prefix -22 is for the .40, -24 is for 9mm. I have another USP SD in 9mm that also has a -24. Maybe it is "just" the second USP in 9mm ever made...

A hint for the early production is that the recoil buffer can be taken apart. It is not of the one-piece type that is found in current USPs.
