Default AAC G-36SD silencer for HK G36K / SL8-1 Conversion

Took about 3 months for the paper Form 4 to get approved, not bad! Submitted this June.

Advanced Armament Corp. G-36SD for the G36K, I believe these were made under contract by AAC for HKD for government use, but some made it into civilian hands. :)

Kick ass setup! I never noticed that USP-ish rail on the bottom of the handguard. Is that special, I don't remember seeing that on other G36 guns before?

Thanks, the early gen G36 handguards (at least with the K, not sure about E) have the USP style rail. I've seen them with the USP UTL installed too.

I bought them online from Fleet Farm, if I'm not mistaken. They were stupid cheap, like $5-$10 each shipped so I ordered like 20 of them. They were acquired by some parent company that didn't like surplus, so they moved it all fast and cheap a few years ago. They have store fronts too, just not in my area. The are Polish, and were used to transport blank ammunition I believe.
