    Default Not a HORRIBLE purchase...

Walked in to my LGS for a quick visit and saw a USPc .40 sitting there looking at me. Variant 1, 1998 date code, with Trijicon sights. Walked out with it for $450.

Not a huge fan of the .40, but with the market for that caliber the way it is, I figured why not. Very clean, with minimal holster/handling wear. Judging by the absence of barrel/chamber wear, it doesn't look like it was fired much. Guessing the previous owner was a right handed shooter, pushing shots left. The rear sight is noticeably right of center in the dovetail. Nothing a slight push won't solve.

Congrats! You did great. If you can, try to get a .357sig conversion barrel to make things more interesting. Enjoy!

    GTS197,

Very nice. I have a fondness for the 1990's USPC in 40. I own one or two.

Nice price. Nice pistol. Take it out and shoot it.

A lot of people don't like 40, but it is a great round and right now, the prices of ammo is as low as it's been in a while.

Not too bad, both of my USP's are in .40. USP & 40 S&W are synonymous. I don't think I'd have any other caliber in a USP, well I had a 45.

    Congrats!

Good deal. I wouldn't go looking for a .40S&W, but if one popped up like that it would be hard to resist.

    It was the right price.

Nice find. I would have bought it for that price. I like .40.
