That is absolutely gorgeous!!!
You need one of the 3x experimental trials scopes:
Economy of Arms: the Swedish reclamation project for the AK4 rifle.
My rendition of the Swedish AK4. Optic and mount aren't correct, the original AK4B had a rail welded on as well as the sights milled off, the original AK4 didn't use an optic and was basically a clone of the G3. So this is kind of a scoped AK4.
The rear sight isn't correct but originals have proven unobtainum so far. The stock decal comes courtesy of a fellow member on HKPro, thanks to him for helping complete the look.
The lower comes from Blackwing and is a converted G3 lower. The stock is an original AK4 part. The forearm is a regular HK slim with a heat shield, though normally this rifle wears a wide HK part.
The base rifle is an SAR8. Jayson at IGF restored the muzzle from it's fake hider look and if you look closely you can see the old pin hole near the muzzle. He offered to fill the hole and trim down the weld which would have required a refinish but being a shooter I told him to leave it be. I did the paddle conversion myself.
Not much of a build, more like swapping parts to arrive at a somewhat AK4ish rifle. Not a variant often seen.
I don't "run" my guns or "run" anything on them. Likewise, none of my guns are "platforms". I hold them up, not the other way around.
Nice, been tempted to go that route, even was poking around for a swedish lower but been chasing other opportunities. The swedish AK4 rails are nice. I have mounted 2 and have a 3rd waiting on what I will ultimately do with it. To mount mine I did not remove the rear sight base, only filed down the scope positioning part. On these I did not want to lose the iron sights. For a true AK4D I would though.
