Can't say for sure as I just made the barrels.
    Others have developed the conversion.
Personally I don't think so with the right springs etc.

this project fell off my radar for a while earlier this year, but I finally got back to it and in touch with @hk21man via email and he was quick to respond and get me the barrel I ordered. Thanks for making these barrels!

Took it out for a test run this weekend, casing fitment and lockup were better than my factory-reamed barrel (due to reaming problems), no more case bulging or other issues with hot sig and underwood. Also went overboard with accessories and tested out a new light setup, APLc on GGG adapter, and also a different mag setup, jetfunnel adapter and an HK45 mag w/ TF +3 extension and a Wolff +10% spring which gives 19+1 capacity and fits in my hiking chest pack better than my previous setup with the TLR-1

Also tried a couple other baseplates with the jetfunnel

original hk45 rubber which fits ok

and actual jetfunnel steel which has a bit of a gap at the rear of the hk45 mag

I registered here just to post in this thread - After many searches through the 10mm conversion content offered here and in LifeSizePotato's well done videos, I am very happy that MM came through with barrels, as a 10mm USP is a dream I've had since I first shot my Stainless USP45 V1 back in 2002 or so.
I am currently mobilized OCONUS but my Father, also an HK addict and 10mm enthusiast, was awesome enough to buy two of these USP40 conversion barrels to match the pair of USP40's we acquired just for this conversion. I am very happy that excess barrels were available, but it's frustrating to see the reasons why they were available.

I am disappointed to see so many folks opt-in, only to flake out. I personally believe that big box stores and Amazon have ruined people's expectations. There's no economy of scale behind these, it's one man's labor-intensive small business, and it seems a hell of a lot of people expected these barrels to be sitting on a shelf ready to go in a box from the word go.

It seems that few people anymore understand the amount of time and effort that goes into low-volume , high precision custom parts that require exacting tolerances and additional processes like nitriding that often need to be outsourced. Fast production would have added added significant cost; likely doubling the price of these barrels if not more. Frankly I am amazed that MM offered any variants or options at all on something like this, let alone a totally different barrel profile and breech pattern like the USP45 option. Everyone that committed to a barrel and didn't buy it basically asked this guy for a bunch of his time and skilled professional effort, and gave him nothing in return. I sincerely hope he sells them all to get compensated for the time and effort he put into making these barrels for us.

waz0wski; That is an outstandingly good looking pistol! Is it an LEM gun? How does it compare to shooting, say, 45 Super out of a USP, or other USP's in general?
Also, how much work did you need to do to fit the HK45 magazine in the USP frame? Was it just some light sanding or did you need to remove significant amounts of material? Pictures of your mag well/magazine changes would be greatly appreciated!! Any issues retaining factory .40 S&W mags after the conversion?
