Default What type of links can be used with the MM21E

I bought a used gun from a member here and am curious what type of links.
I have not shot it yet, but I do have a sear in hand now.
Also where to get literature about the care and maintenance of said gun
I have the 23 conversion kit as well so curious to those links too

Did they originally come with the retimed hammer for full auto?
Just want to be sure I don't abuse

    Thanks :)

M27 for the 23e and m13 for the 21e. I "think" dm1 non disintegrating links can be used too?
Spent most of my tax return on Hk parts, booze and ammo....the rest I just wasted

Your sear pack will need to be sent to MM to have the trigger pack frame modified for use in the beltfed.

Yep, your frame needs notched for the larger 21E/23E ejector lever if it isn't already (& you aren't handy with a dremel).
Look at your semi-pack and you will see the notch.

In my experience.. which is very limited, certain .308 ammo just doesn’t work... it’s not a belt vs link issue...
But honestly once the guns broken in it might not matter...... I haven’t run .223 yet.

I bought like 5 kinds of .308 ammo ..... after waiting so long and not going to shoots other than my private range...
The aguila doesn’t work..... but I basically haven’t even use it much....

My guess is if you run the links/belts through it multiple times with hot ammo you gain reliability..... but if your reloading your reloading your own ammo... the minimum charge to cycle it will decrease wear and tear..... but it’s not a a shrike/MCR/ fight lite.... it’s more than aluminum range toy

As far as links or belts... I don’t know the terminology.... I’ve been running the ones that aren’t “wired” together.... there are a couple designations... and often when your order who know what your receivers... I’ve got disintegrating and two types of non disintegrating belts... seems to me the ammo matters more and if you have less than ideal belts... you just trash the belts and the feed mechanism probably takes more wear.......

I’m by no means an expert
