Just got mine back. Can’t say enough good things about my experience with Michaels Machines. The gun is flawless. Paint is 100% and remarks are very clean. Can’t wait to get my HK91 to Mike for the G3K conversion.SP5 Navy conversion pics-77095df7-9f50-4c60-8bc2-17d1c920072c.jpegSP5 Navy conversion pics-ebe7d76c-4c5f-44dc-9a44-372211063228.jpeg

Im pretty new to the HK world as I just recently got my first HK SP5. So a question for you all.

I understand having the work done for being able to host a full auto sear pack. I can see investing in that.

But what is the advantage of having this work done and having a Navy housing setup with a mp5-n stamp. It's still a semi auto as the factory SP5. What gains or value is there if your not going with a fa sear pack?

Sorry not sure I understand the advantage? Is it just for looks? By all means do not take this in a negative way as I said I'm learning here and got to start somewhere. Thanks in advance.

    Mike

Mike, it's an aesthetic desire on the part of most HK owners. The re-mark is to duplicate a factory MP5-N submachine gun. That's all.

Congrats, it looks awesome. I like that Mike engraves on the tang, and adds his mark as well. Nice touch.

I wanted to add to this post and give another shout out to Mike. I just got my SP5 to MP5-N conversion back. The work was flawless and the turn around time was just a little over 2 weeks. This is my third HK through Mike’s shop. Every single one has been outstanding. Mike is very easy to work with, he is extremely responsive with communication and always takes the time to answer my questions. So here’s the picture... MP5-N, G36C, MP5K-N!!! Thanks again, Mike!
