Mike, ping me if you are heading to DA on Sunday, it would be nice to do some catching up.

I go to the pit for the warmer months usually every month on a Sunday with members from an AK forum. It is definitely a zoo on the weekends. Otherwise, it's a very nice place to shoot.

This video shows you the range a bit on the site that is farther out.

So, being that the pit is a zoo on weekends… where would be a good spot to go that is hopefully central to a degree for everyone?

Im probably a lot farther north than most of you so only place I know of is my local gun club I belong to but that's a good hour or more north out of the metro Detroit area.

It is Hard here in South Eastern Michigan, unless someone has property down here this way with a Range set up, or a Good Size Burm, most ranges won't let you rapid fire. I mean they want 2 seconds between shots, just ridiculous. That is not shooting. Going inside, we have some that allow FA and Rapid fire, but as we all know you really give up the whole meaning of trying out different suppressors at indoor ranges with others next to you shooting and you pay for .5 or 1 hour max lane time. Not to mention the fact I hit by a guy from 5 lanes down one time!! There were only the 2 of us in the range at the time and the .38 spl bullet came fairly straight down on my neck just above my LT Clavical right on top of all the main arteries and veins.
