What if we have our own OEM vented blocks for install on our barrels?

This will be a separate item for sale to those that need them for the clone barrels we are making and they will be available for individual sale

it is my understanding that the 10.4" barrels need a gasport specific to the gasblock that will be used and if the rifle is to be used with a suppressor
the gasport will not be drilled into the barrels until this information is received from the buyer prior to shipment
we intend to ask for this information when we send out our notification for the remaining balance remittance
the 3mm index pin will be the standard configuration but the barrel extension can be modified to work with other upper receivers

Will these be the same port size as the Hk OEM 10in vented gas blocks?

I have one of the 10.4 barrels on order with you guys. Can I get a vented gas block to go with it when they are ready ?

    Awesome work!

Is this what i'd want for shooting the shortened MR556 barrel with the suppressor? Or would I want my existing block drilled as I saw somebody else ask you? I'm new to this whole piston gun thing

A .035 vented gas block will work suppressed with the gasport 1.37mm (.054") in a MR556
It will however short stroke without a suppressor, but if you were to replace the HK Buffer spring
with a M4 Carbine spring it will function correctly.

I personally run this setup on my 10.4". when I want to shoot it with the suppressor I use the HK spring and it works great
if I have to fire the rifle without a suppressor I use the M4 spring

you can also use a non-vented gasblock and the HK buffer spring without a suppressor
the rifle will pick up the next round in the mag but the bolt will not lock back on the last round
the downside is that the bolt carrier velocity with a suppressor is increased and may cause damage
to the buffer and receiver extension tube

if you had no intention of using a suppressor this would work with a larger gasport like 1.5mm

I have tried adjustable gasblocks combined with using larger gasports in the barrel without success on the 10.4"
