I avoided the CLEO. My friend has gotten his done though, but with a newly elected sheriff, that's out the door. I decided it was best to go with a Trust to avoid the pending issues now. It will all depend on your state, as you need to seek an attorney who knows the state laws for doing a NFA Trust. My attorney is a firearm collector, so he knows the issues and obstacles currently.

Everybody was pushing me to do that, I thought I was special. I will look into that tomorrow, thanks for the encouragement.

Keep in mind, anything you have under your name now will be separate from the trust. If you want them in the trust, you have to transfer them at $200 each. I can add non NFA items into the trust as well, but once you have the tax stamp on an item in your name, it's another tax stamp to change the ownership into the trust.

Which sheriff was it and did they give a reason for the denial?
I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more HK.

Kathy O'Conner on behalf of Gillespie respectfully decline but under no obligation to do so blah blah. I'm getting kind of paranoid because I don't know what changed.
