Default wolf 9mm 115 gr steel case in a ptr 9ct?

I can get this locally for a decent price. was wondering if anyone is using this ammo in a mp5 platform or ptr 9ct. How does it work. military load thinking it should be ok. Like to know before buying a few hundred rounds. Thanks

I’ve been using wolf in my MP5 clones for a few years now. Pistol caliber barrels don’t wear nearly as much as a rifle barrel would. I’m about 20,000 rounds without any noticeable wear. Most of, but not all have been in full auto. I did get a off batch of underpowered 9mm rounds about 3 years ago, but their ammo has been pretty consistent with the powder charge. Last batch I bought a few months ago was 13 cents per round.

I have ruined a few glock barrels shooting that stuff. With Winchester 124 nato at palmetto state for 8.99 a box why shoot bi metal bullets.

Atlantic recommends it and based on that I've put a few hundred rounds through my guns without fail or issue.

I don't "run" my guns or "run" anything on them. Likewise, none of my guns are "platforms". I hold them up, not the other way around.

I put 200 steel into my PTR9CT this weekend no issues. not lacquer coat though, not sure if that's what you're looking at.
