    Default IA P9S

    HK P9S Target @ National Shooting Sports event Monticello, MN.
    Nailing 1" targets @ 10 yards.
    Range officer asked me, "What is that?"
    I proudly told him, "It's an HK P9S made in 1980"
    Very happy with my purchase

    No, this guy was 5-10 years older than me.
    He could not believe the light trigger when cocked.
    And when I explained that the hammer was inside the slide;
    this it was not a striker fire hand gun. Well, he was impressed.

    Gotta love the P9 series, special place in my heart for them. Such a smooth action.

    A 100 yard range. 100% and 60% silhouettes. Pistols @ 25yd and less.
    Broke out the P9S again, a lot of "What is that?" One guy had a P7,
    and I think he is now looking for a P9S.

    I also brought the IB 91. What a
    Fine piece of machinery. 100 yard shots all day.
    We did get to try some non-HK stuff, like a S&W 460!
    First with the 454 Casull and then with the 460. It was like a 45-70 out
    Out of a handgun.
    A wonderful day was had by all.
