Default 1st range trip with USP 9 tactical

Visited my country property today and was able to put 100 rounds through my USP 9 tactical. I was shooting it with my omega 9k suppressor and it makes for a very quiet combo. I had a failure to eject and my 11 year old son shot a couple of mags as well and had a couple of failure to go into battery( I’m sure those were grip related). My suppressor does not allow the top of the sights to clear so I have to “ look through” the suppressor while using the sights. Makes it a little hard for precision shots. I was having consistent hits at 11 O’ clock however and couldn’t hit poa which was annoying me. I’m sure it was my grip or something. I have a USP 9c and HK 45c as well as USP 45 and they are all tack drivers.

Strange, I remember that was first ammo I used when I got my suppressor through my SD and I had failures as well. I believe mine were failure to feed but it was just as consistent as you mentioned. Since the gun is new, I would shoot a box or two of +P or +P+ to break it in. Some say you can just leave the slide locked back for a week or so and that may work. I'd try a different type of ammo next time to try and rule that out.

I always thought it wise to shoot a couple hundred rounds through the gun before attaching the suppressor. Gives the pistol some time to break in and check function without the added weight hanging off the end.

It’s definitely a fun combo to shoot together and mine has been very accurate.
