ever the optimist, and not to be discouraged..... I may have found a solution to my holster issue.... Red River Tactical. talked to them today. looks like they can make me a holster to the specifications I desire: Sure Fire X300U, RMR cut, suppressor height sights, SLS hood, cocked & locked, and all for a pretty good price....

I'm going to give them a shot.

I will let you all know how this shakes out.

Are they making it with an actual Safariland SLS? Their pictures on the site look like the blade tech version.

    You are correct, I mis-spoke.

Bummer, I’m in the same boat, used Safariland holsters for so long that nothing else feels right. I wish they’d make more niche holsters but I understand they stick with what demand calls for.

Either way, glad you found a suitable holster!

Red Hill tactical most likely has what you are looking for. They have a level 2 retention holster as well as 2 competition style holsters all molded for the HK45. They offer optics cuts and have 10+ options for lights.

I know you said you already ordered a holster, but I found another option you may be interested in:

    https://www.squaredawaycustoms.com/five-o/

They use an actual SLS robbed off of Safariland holsters and accommodate a bunch of gun/light combos.

The Five-O is more of an OWB holster, and wouldn’t be ideal. However, their Niner model would work. I might order one of these too

Right you are, that’s the one I meant. I was looking at the five-o for plainclothes and linked to it instead by mistake. I guess we’re even, haha.

I may end up getting that one myself, got an SLS/ALS vp9 holster on the way but it’s pretty high riding so we’ll see how it works.
