I’m not 100% sure, but I’m pretty sure this is a scam. It already has buds on it. Buyer beware!

Looks like the pics were pulled from this ad. That gun/pics comes right up on a google search and not from his ad. He didn’t try very hard. Good looking out Brobus.

no rating, area code doesn't match area, gmail account, BIN price in description. Too much smoke for it not to be a fire!

Good catch. I now get a Error message on the GB link, so probably pulled. Now if these sites could ban these scammer's IP address, that would weed out these losers quickly.

I'm not sure how this person continues to relist this, the .50 caliber, and others. It has been relisted...

How do you report a listing on gb? When I click the link it directs me to a question and answer help section.

On GunBroker, scroll down to the bottom of the page where there is a HELP header and 'Contact Us' option. This will take you to a page with a drop down list that has a 'Fraud' reporting page. I submitted one on this auction this morning and copied this forum thread on subject scammer and pasted it onto their complaint description. I also suggested to GunBroker that they should have a way to ban a scammer's IP address. Armslist site is a complete scammer's haven, but it seems lately that those same scammers are pushing their luck a lot over on GunBroker lately.

BTW, good catch on this same scam.

What does BIN in description have to do with a scam ad?

Want to learn how to spot a scam ad since I need to make a purchase soon.

    Thanks

BIN means Buy It Now, but when the price is to good to be true, it usually is. Long story short... Gunbroker is very safe AS LONG AS the seller has great feedback. Stay AWAY from NR sellers or people who have not sold anything.
