No, 9 mm and .45 buffer housings are different. 9 mm are still available, .45's are like hens teeth and tough to come by.

Here is a 9 mm one if you need it.

I know that there hasn't been a post on this thread for almost 3.5 years, but I just did a trade & end up with a HK P9S .45 TARGET, I'm buying parts for the gun. Would like to know if the P9S 45 used the same receiver as the 9mm. THANK YOU all for any information

The receiver is the same between the Combat and Target and Sport models, but is different between the calibers, meaning the 9mm receiver is different than the .45.

Thank You for the reply, I'm trying to find a spare threaded bushing, I wonder if The 45 & 9mm are the same. Installing a new buffer, I kinda bugged the bushing & what a pain in the butt it's using two screw drivers to remove the buffer housing !!! By the way can a 9mm buffer housing be modified so I can use it as a replacement ??? Thanks for all your advice

The screws and bushing are the same, but the buffer housing is different and I have not seen a modification to make the 9mm variant work with the .45.
