Default WTB: Hk German MP5/10mm Barrel

Sold my MP5/10mm and am experiencing sellers remorse. Would like to build up a sear one.
Starting point is the barrel, so if you have one that you have decided you are not going to do
anything with, give me a shout. Looking for a Hk German one at this point but that may change.
    Thanks

Man, I was all bummed when I didn't see your barrel for sale before it was gone, what 2-3 years ago? Then I see this add you want to buy it back? Chuck, this isn't like you. Wish you luck on the barrel...sorry if I just broke a rule.

    Hi Suds!

I have been thinking about checking my records to see who I sold it to. Maybe he has not used it and will sell it back to me? Maybe he will see this thread
    and shoot me an IM?

If you happen to come across one or a part set let me know.

    Thanks
    Chuck

Guess having a 40 re-chambered is not a desired option?

Not with me, and not likely Chuck either.

Check your records, you never know. Those barrels are some of the rarest barrels out there for sub guns. Fortunately, demand isn't crazy like they are for k-PDW barrels, which are actually more common. That said, I haven't seen a 10mm barrel for sale for a couple years, but I haven't been looking either.

I have heard that Jayson at IGF can rechamber MP5/40 S&W barrels to HK 10mm specs; however, he can not change the twist rate of the 40 S&W barrel
which has a different rate than that of the 10mm ones.

Ok, since there is a serious difference between the 10 and 40.....can you educate me on why you prefer one over the other? I'm not being sarcastic, I'm seriously interested in building a MP5/40....but if the 10 has better advantages, I'd love to know them. Any education on this matter would be greatly appreciated. I've only shot MP5/9mm and MP5/40, both full auto and burst. Thank you in advance.

This is starting to hijack Chuck's WTB post. Very briefly, the 10mm out of that length barrel has significant energy way out to 200 meters and beyond. High impulse ammo or low impulse ammo. As G3Kurtz has stated here, it's the most potent sub machine gun ever built. Obviously ammo is expensive and the gun in general is a real speciality piece, especially when it's built using all factory German parts and a 94 receiver.
