BOTH the O-ring and the thread protector are both available - at the bottom of the page of the link I posted.

    Not cheap

The barrel is $290 and the threaded protector is $25 and the O-ring is $5...plus s&h = hey, it's HK.

I gave HKCS a call last week about purchasing a threaded barrel for my HK45c and was told that there would not be another shipment until mid October. This after they told me in April that there would be nothing until late July. After they told me in March that they would be available April...so I guess they're in high demand and low supply.

I just called them today. Placed order. Said shipment is en route and should be approx two weeks. Straight from Germany.

No worries. Called HK direct. Getting barrel and thread protector shipped for much cheaper than that ;)

I DID NOTICE THAT. Give them YOUR EMAIL address and they will let you know as soon as it comes in. There are other places he can go, but some do and some do not notify you when something that's out of stock comes back in stock.

I've used this feature for MANY PARTS that I've purchased from HKPARTS,NET - all it takes is patience. AND MONEY OF COURSE. He can send them his info and once it comes back in, he will get an email that it's in and all he has to do is contact them.

And all the parts I listed ARE HK ORIGINAL PARTS. Lots of other places to get HK parts... this is the one I've used successfully. Even letting them 'NOTIFY ME' when it wasn't in stock.

And according to your call to HKCS, they will be in stock again fairly soon?
