Default WTB: Lens Caps for Hensoldt Fero-Z24 (mounted on HK rifle) source needed

I recently acquired a Hensoldt Fero Z24 and need rubber lens caps.

Does anyone know where to get them, or a decently fitting alternative that you've tried and use? Even a bikini cover that you've tried and fits.

I'm in a dusty environment and always cap my lenses.

These lens caps (from a ZB Militaria ad)

I pulled my covers off and ordered a pair of butler creek flip up covers. Here’s the sizing chart from their site:

I think I ordered the 3A size, but you should measure to confirm. Hope this helps as an alternate option.

OOF! Yeah that is more than I was expecting. Interesting that the seller does not show the one side of the cap (the tab that holds the "lid" to the "base") where the failure always occurs as the rubber gets brittle, cracks, and breaks.

I measure 1.28" for both eyepiece and objective ends. Are your BC caps tight? The "Multiflex" would be nice but their smallest is way too big.

Yes... it fits securely. I’m not sure what model I have, I just remember that 3A was the size that I ordered.

Looks like 3A would be the standard flip open that they list as 1.300" diameter.

If someone else doesn't come up with a Hensoldt source, I'll be going this route. Thanks!

Agreed, a bit steep. The seller must have the mistaken impression of: "It's for a Fero Z, they'll pay ANYTHING!"

I ordered a pair of Butler Creek Blizzard (they have a window) caps. Thanks @CaptRex

Still looking for official ones if anyone knows a source.

$70 for a set. Hopefully they come with some German “Space magic” to help you see the target better. Hehe :)
