    Default Mark 23 gunsmith

Looking for any recommendations on a gunsmith that does trigger work for the mark 23.

I would contact James here with teufelshund tactical to see what can be done. Personally I wouldn’t have anyone besides an HK Armorer modify any trigger components if you want to maintain the reliability of the gun.

Check Grayguns or Lazy Wolf Guns for trigger work on a variety of H&K pistols, most likely including the Mark 23.

The other option is to send the pistol to James at Teufelshund Tactical, and have him remove all of the trigger components, then send just those components to Wright Armory for re-finishing in NP3 Plus Nickel-Teflon, then have James re-install them after refinishing. This will give you a lighter, smoother, and faster pull, and make the pistol far easier to clean and maintain.

Also, if you get the barrel plated with NP3 Plus Nickel-Teflon, the pistol will cycle much smoother and faster, with an added perceived effect (in my opinion) of having less recoil.
