    Default WTB: T36

    Looking for:

T36c barreled receiver (preferably German barrel; but US is fine)
Bare, never-built (or pistol built) receiver.

Will also consider a T36c pistol configuration.
    Own: HK91, G36k, HK416, P30L, USP SD
Future: HK243? Assuming HK grants my wish.

Yeah, I saw that too. Things were a little wonky with it and I decided to pass.

First, it had the stock attached, arguably making a rifle (although with no barrel, maybe not). But the stock pin was also halfway sticking out, and the front of the receiver that would be under the handguard was scratched up.

Didn't give me a good feeling. Seems like the guy didn't know what he was doing. He started the auction with 'I give up'.

    Figured I'd ask around.

Reached out to him. It sold. He parted out just the barreled upper and relisted the trigger housing and FCG.

If you want one bad enough. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/875880624. Bit too high for my taste though.

Tommy sells direct for $2700ish, plus the fancy brace is a little more.

Who is paying $4k for these on GB?

    Crazy talk.

    For real.

I have a TBT/MM G36k re-weld already. Love the gun, will never sell it.. so, the left side of my brain has slowly been buying German "spare parts" to make sure my favorite firearm is gonna be A-OK forever. Makes sense, right? G36 parts aren't exactly rare, but not a buy one at the local gun shop affair either. So, make sure I can keep it running. I don't overpay. Wait till I find deal on parts. Mathematical, even.

But the RIGHT side of the brain knows the truth. It's been manipulating the situation the whole time, building up a set of parts that screams "Barreled receiver = G36c -- do it NOW"

Enter logical Left brain, "Well, we've spent a bit of time acquiring spares. It's far more reasonable to just buy a TBT T36c, replace all the US parts with German parts, use the US parts as spares and then end up with G36k and G36c builds, AND a load of spares."

And, before any of you start making comments...

    Yes. I talk to myself.

Hence the username; so be kind and sell me a barreled T36c receiver.

    :)
