    Maybe next month or so I'll be finished up with it. Got a couple others Im still working on.

    The hand stop needs to be moved forward. Its in the incorrect position.

    It is a hand stop, designed to stop your hand from moving forward of the forearm and in front of the barrel. As such, it should be mounted on the forward position of the receiver.

    argh....why do they allow it to be moved at all to the incorrect position?????? Prob. to temp mount accessories I imagine. Oh well.

    It serves the dual role as being a front sling attachment point and apparently, the owner of that UMP likes his sling attachment point further back, possibly to be less of an obstacle for cycling the charging handle.
