Recently replaced a recoil spring on a rod, German guide rod and BCG, the kind where the recoil spring rod snaps into the BCG via nylon rings. When manually cycling it, I can hear the recoil spring rubbing against the bcg, sounds like coils of the spring are rubbing against the retaining notch...
