If you sell one, please call me first
I know, and that's what has me second guessing selling to raise funds for a belt-fed project. Supply and demand will push prices higher on the 416 uppers... but likely on the belt-feds as well. They've sort of dried up for now from what I've seen. Back when I was searching (Jan-Feb), an upper or two would show up every week. These days there aren't very many going around or at least the owners are posting them for sale.
Keep the AHI'm thinking of selling a 10.4" 416 upper. Have AF and AH date code uppers, and trying to gauge interest. Both are in excellent shape... one is AF date coded, and the other is AH. Only material difference I'm aware of is the barrel profile is lighter on the AH.
Any thoughts?
What^^^^^^ he said. They are getting harder to come by.....or at least the nice ones are.date codes dont make a huge difference unless there brand new. the nicer condition ones fetch more $$$$$ since alot of 416's were LE guns and show lots of wear, especially to the rails etc. Dont sell both of your uppers, youll regret it down the road when you cant find anymore, due to HK restricting them to LE/Military only....
