Here are some photos from last weekend's Combat Rifle Championships VIII. Along with Silencerco, we co-sponsored the "Machinegun Alley" stage and the stage winner took home a Silencerco-SWR suppressor of their choice. Our post-sample D54P-N and Silencerso Octane 9 survived 2-days of approximately 3000 rounds of suppressed full-auto use and an afternoon of rain, without cleaning and without manfunction. Mission success.

With competitors including shooters from Trijicon and Magpul, the CRC is an annual match hosted by ACTS and focuses on "real-world" combat senarios. This year's event was 8 stages ranging from a 200 yard markman challenge to CQB hostage rescue. If you train and like to game, you should challenge yourself to next year's Combat Rifle Championships. This year's sponsorship included Silencerco, Trijicon, Magpul, Aimpoint, ATEi, Brownells, Burris, Dakota Tactical and more. Special thanks to HKParts.net, FIREClean and Multi-tasker Tools that donated supplies/tools to help ensure a successful event.

We took out a couple of D54P's in 9, a D54P/10, D52P, D300P, UMP, HK416, MR556 and MR762... and of course a couple of Silencerco suppressors.

That looks like a fun shoot.

Glad to see that the DT weapons were more than up to the challenge.

Keep up the good work Joe.
Thanks Jeff! The "keep it simple" theory really made an appearance. With all the tricked-out AR's and other modified rifles there, the guy who won the entire event did so with a slightly modified AK-47 and iron sights... and yes, even won the 200 yard marksman challenge with it IIRC.

I like to use the golf club analogy... you can put as much technology into the golf club as you want, but if you don't know how to swing nor if you do not understand the principles of "course management", it typically won't matter. That's why the CRC is such a challenging competition; many of the stages are engineered to create stress on the shooter where training and natural instincts become difference between winning and losing. I did not compete in the match but I have mad respect for all the guys that did.
