Hi folks, I searched other post looking for help but found inconsistent answers. Trying to remove the adjustable rear sight on a 45t. I pulled the screw and 2 springs plus the 2 set screws from the inside. Gave it a push but its not budging. Does it matter which way I move it? Any other things I might be missing? Could be I am not pushing hard enough. Trying to be careful.
Appreciate any help you can give me.

Thanks James. I already had your website saved. ☺ I do want to try to get it it myself though.

Wanted to come back and fill in the end of my story.
Used a sight pusher. I was gentle and careful. Didn’t work
Used penetrating oil over night, then a sight pusher. Didn’t work
Hair dryer to warm loctite. Didn’t work
Heat gun. Didn’t work
Finally put it in a vice with the bottom of the dove tail even with the top of the vice. Carefully and slowly cut down into it with a diamond blade on a 4 inch grinder. Cut two channels 3/16 inch apart being very careful not to touch the gun. It cut like butter and came out easily. New sight installed. Very happy with result. Didn’t disturb a molecule of the finish of the gun. Great sense of accomplishment. Woot woot!

Shot it this morning...DBA
