I'm wondering if this is intended for the MP5K. as far as I know, the prefix for MP5K should be 64- while 62- is for the full size MP5s.

I bought this MP5K housing from HKParts.

has anyone also been able to order a blank housing?

I believe this applies to housings as well, someone please correct if I'm wrong...
MP5 Serial Number Prefix
62- MP5 9mm
63- MP5SD
64- MP5K

I saw a few that Gerard Miller converted from MP5 to MP5K and the rear looked amazing, you couldn't even tell, but that man was a genius.
So... Could this one have been converted... Seems possible... What does the rear look like?

yep. emailed HKParts CS and they said they did have the 64- in stock. I hope they can do an exchange, with shipping on my part at least.

I ordered one from them on 2/10/17 and it is marked 64 and in the HK bag.
