Trijicon ACOG 6x48 Rifle Scope w/ Fiber Optics & Tritium FREE S&H Trijicon Scopes w/ Chevron Reticle

I've ordered this and cancelled it twice because it's expensive but damn i want this thing so bad... any ideas? I know it's huge but it's so sick.... or should I get the 5.5x50?

I have this ACOG for my AR that I've been using on my PTR but it's of course 5.56 not 308... should I care that much about the BDC to get a second ACOG?

I had one of those on an LMT308 as it was a clone of the UK DMR. It is really big, was designed for belt fed MGs. Very clear but...very big. I wouldnt put one on an HK G3 style weapon.

i've been debating about getting on with the .50 cal retical for my Barrett... waiting for prices to drop more or the right moment for an impulse buy, LOL. If you do have the itch for one, I've found one cheaper on eBay than the link you posted, in the $2170ish shipped range i believe, at least on the 50 cal versions.

Help me decide 6x48 or 5.5x50 ACOG?? the 5.5x50 is 12" long and it looks like it'll get in the way of the charging handle......
