where do we get the parts kits????? why dont they smuggle something useful for the rest of us on this side :)
It really sucks that Mexican law doesn't allow export of firearms to civilians. Up here in Canada our importation laws are pretty reasonable as long as the receivers are semi-auto only so we're able to import a lot of cool stuff from China and Europe. I drool at the thought of cheap Mexican G36s.

Yeah, when ever I see pictures like this, as a heli pilot it runs cold down my back thinking how the HK through out the brass.
Even if they don't end up in the air intake, most likely it will hit the rotor blades and damage them eventually + if it hits the rotor blade, the brass might come quite fast back at you!
Isn't there enough downward wash from the rotor blades that a lightweight piece of brass would be blown down and away before it arced high enough to hit the blades?

Not really.

If a case hits high on the fuselage, it may find it's path into the turbine intake. The smaller the chopper the higher the chances of it to happen.

It may be a real hazard to fire a weapon from the side doors of a in flight chopper.

Nevertheless it looks like that specific chopper has some mesh to protect the intakes from debris, brass, birds...
