My neighbor bought a gun that shoots 9 x 18 ammo.

Will my p7m13 fire those? I wondered because they seem to be cheap to buy.

Just wondering.

9x18 is specifically for the makarov, IIRC. I would not recomend it in any other weapon, period.

The "9"x18 Makarov is actually 9.2 mm in diameter so it won´t fit in the 9x19.. Even if you manage to do so, it will eventually do damage.

This reminds me of an argument I had a few years ago with my nephew over ammo. He was convinced you could shoot .380 out of a 9mm.

I dont think he ever tried but I warned him not too.

I did a search on 9mm rounds and found a 9x18Ultra(9mm Police) catridge. It is a true "niner", diameter .356 inches.

We all know the rule. Don´t try it, if it is not the catridge your weapon is specified for ... :901: :20000000::300000000:
