I really want the convex "meat tenderizer " stye stock on my mp5 clone build . I can't see why I would'nt be able to cut down the arms and machine some new notches to fully retract and lock on the shorter mp5 receiver ....

Am I correct ? Can this be done or is there something I should know about the 93/53 arms and locking mechanism ?

While were on the subject . Anyone ever add notches to get some extra adustnent ?
I'm not at home to look at my mp5 stock , I'm stuck on a boat daydreaming about hk's and taking. A grinder to a $400 stock

The slots have those little hooks that I think are to keep the stock from pulling all the way out and those look kinda hard to machine. It'd be a shame to mess up a $400 stock and if you decided you didn't like it, it would probably be near impossible to unload. I'd get one of those $150 chinese F stocks, they're pretty sweet for the money.
