Is there an adapter that can be used ? I'd like to be able to share it between hosts rather then purchase multiples...

What can companies would you suggest for this direction...

Thanks

Advanced Armament has 9mm cans that you can switch from 3 lug to threaded with their adapter. They make excellent products.

I second the use of Advanced Armament. Their Tirant 9mm can is fantastic, and can be used with threaded barrels and with 3-lug barrels using their adapter.

They just released their 3-lug adapter for the Tirant though...so it might take a little bit for it to get to market.

Lots of recommendations for 3-Lug & Thread mounted options in this thread: http://www.hkpro.com/forum/hk-nfa-talk/151371-can-mp5-clone.html

I'm over 5 months Pending on my SWR Octane; I'll be using it on my BW5 and my SIG P239, which uses the same 13.5x1 LH threading as the HK 9mms. Hopefully I'll have more to share about it in the next 2 weeks :-|

Thanks guys...

Searching the web seems to have opened up other thoughts to this....

Now I'm thinking about just getting a 45 can and using it for all my platforms.... 9, 40, and 45....
Perhaps an Osprey, and getting the proper pistons for each and it looks like they also offer a 3 lug adapter now as well...

I'll also be looking for a 5.56 can for my ACR after I SBR it.... Looks like I got alot of stuff to get going in the works now...

Ughh Looks like lots of paperwork for stamps....

I use a Gemtech Multimount for two MKEs w/ 3 lugs, a 1/2x28 threaded 9mm AR, several pistols threaded 13.5x1LH and I've got another adapter threaded 5/8x24 for 300BLK subs, so it's a very versatile can. Although, don't plan on going full auto mag after mag with a Multimount as Gemtech doesn't recommend heavy full auto fire with that can. I also have a 40 Osprey that I've used on a HK USP .40 and the 9mm pistols and MKEs also. A 3 lug adapter would seem a little difficult with the Osprey, but I'm just an enthusiast, not an engineer.
