Guys,

A few years ago I bought a like new police trade in full size 9mm USP w/ LEM trigger for about $375. Its case had a piece of masking tape on it marked "spare"; so I think I did okay in the price department. ;) I also have a USP 45 Expert and really like the trigger, so I'm thinking about buying a match trigger for the 9mm.

I was looking at a picture of the kit online and there doesn't seem to be a whole lot to it. Do I need the hammer from the kit or would I still use the bobtail version that originally came with the gun? If the new hammer isn't used the match conversion kit looks like about $10 worth of small parts, so before I order the match kit I thought I would ask for some input/suggestions on here.

Thanks.
For the match/LEM hybrid trigger you'll keep the two piece hammer which is the cornerstone of the LEM system. I'd suggest calling HK and telling Travis what you've got and what you're doing and just ordering the parts you need rather than the whole match kit.

See my reply in this thread. Get only the needed parts for the Match Trigger instead of the whole kit and you'll save about $80. The only problem is that 2 of these parts are not in stock at the moment. I checked TGS and HKParts this morning.

Update: Found a source for the out-of-stock Match Hammer Spring and Flat Nickel Spring. They're in stock now.
I'm glad you found them but have a question. You said you tried TGS and HKParts but did you try HK?
