if it breaks off (which none of mine ever have or ever been replaced in thousands of rounds), the gun will still function perfectly fine. just wont be as "tight" without the o-ring. I would just store an extra in your range bag, or where ever you store extra springs if you need them. No reason to hide one on your gun.

Remove rfid chip, replace with o-ring, lol......
If you really wanted to, you could do this. The only way 99.9999% of people are going to be able to tell any difference at all between having and not having the O-ring is with a mechanical bench rest. The gun still functions perfectly fine without one. But if you really want to have an extra, you could probably put one in the backstrap cavity.

Anybody found a place to store an extra o ring on the gun?
Retrofit a glock grip on 45c and stick it in that useless little compartment on the back by the mag well. Serviously, I don't think you need to carry a spare. Have not ever heard of one breaking yet.

Well tbh I was thinking that when the zombies come I don't want to be lacking an o ring when the shtf. I guess I never figured that HK would put crap on the gun that doesn't matter if it's missing.
