ARPC Machine Gun Shoot

This is a very large event and probably the largest machine gun shoot on the west coast. As a member of ARPC you do not have to pay an entry fee at the entrance gate. Non-members must pay $10 per person to get through the gate. Approximately 1,500 people from Oregon, Washington, California and Hawaii attend this event each year.

If you haven't been to one of the machine gun shoots, here is what takes place. Vendors, who own machine guns, allow members of ARPC and the general public to shoot their full auto guns simply by buying the ammunition from them. Last year there were over 100 full auto guns available to shoot ranging is sizes from .22 caliber to 20mm. You can even shoot .50 caliber machine guns at targets. All wooden backboards are removed from the range and a variety of active targets are installed including automobiles donated by B&R Auto Wrecking in Corvallis. The entire range is completely closed for open shooting during this event.

The gates open at 8:00 am; shooting begins at 9:00 am and ends at 4:00 pm both Saturday and Sunday. Vendors will also be on hand selling firearm related merchandise (no firearms), tee shirts and ammunition. If you are a business owner or know a business owner who supports the 2nd Amendment, we have "Saddle Butte Machine Gun Shoot" posters available in the range Pro Shop that they can post at their businesses.

Pass the word to all of your friends about shooting machine guns. If you have any questions just call the ARPC office at (541) 491-3755. Come out and watch one of the most amazing displays of full auto - machine gun shooting you will ever see and YOU can squeeze the trigger TOO!

as posted on Facebook:

SBMGS 2017 CANCELLED. Our humble apologies on behalf of all the Staff and Vendors, but insurance for the event became an insurmountable barrier this year. Please stay tuned. To all our loyal followers, PLEASE help get the word out to anyone that planned to attend. There's no getting around people being upset by this, but we don't wish to add inconvenience as well.
We have a great appreciation for all of our vendors, suppliers, staffers, and our loyal and smiling attendees from years past. We can't thank you all enough for our incredible and SAFE run through the years.
If you are a Vendor (firing line or retail), you will be hearing from Carol regarding refunds for tables. At this time, please don't overwhelm the office at ARPC, Carol and Brian are about to be VERY busy tying up loose ends. If you have questions, post them here, and Pete, Allen, and I will do our best to keep up. Please have patience.
Will there be a 2018? We'll let you know.
