I see lots of people listing the date codes and where their HK45 is made. Is there really any difference in quality?

There have been no reports of any quality differences between German HK's and American HK's

HK has gone to great lengths to ensure that their weapons stay elite... They don't wanna pull a Sig maneuver

Todd Greens HK45 that performed the 50,000 round endurance test was marked with American proof symbols...

I've heard that on the HK45 the barrel, slide and major components other than the frame are made in Germany. And the frame is made here... This is what I have HEARD if anyone has definitive knowledge please correct me

Both HK45 and HK45C are made that way.

Both the HK45 & HK45c have high quality control standards.

I have about 3 thousand through my american one; 1500 of those through a Ti-Rant 45. Excellent HK as always!!!
