any barrles for HK23e tht shoot 5.45

I linked up some 5.45x39 to see if it would work, and it does. Are there any conversions for the 23e that would shoot this round. Seems like it would run just fine but with (maybe) a modified extractor and the barrel.

Shoooting .05$ rounds would be nice

Would need a new LP, barrel, possible bolt head, recoil spring, and possible ejector. I know Ghillie has a 5.45 53 style gun.
I would say give Mike a call and ask.

Down side is most of the 5.45x39 low cost ammo is corrosive.
You have to open up the bolt head for the 5.45x39 round, a simple mill job does it. Barrel would be the biggie... I have a 5.45x39 chamber reamer here. Then you have to get the chamber fluted. I'm still waiting on word from Jeff about when he's sending his 5.45x39 barrels in for fluting.

It's a down side, but certainly not a deal breaker. I regularly clean the guns after shooting anyhow. Means nothing to me.

Just stating the obvious ... only time corrosive ammo is bad, is when you don't clean. Since started using Barrett Bore cleaner for everything, it is nearly a wash anyway ;-)
