I have an M1, and had an M2 on an AR-15. They are great scopes, but the short eye relief, shortness of the scope, and the large section in the center of the scope made the M2 a poor candidadate for an AR-15 optic, because the scope could not be mounted far enough back to be shot comfortably. I imagine that the mounting issue would be a bigger problem on an hk93. These are fine scopes, but I'm not sure what platform would work well with the M2.
This is my M1 on a .308. The scope looks like it's mounted pretty far back, but this was necessary for proper eye relief. I couldn't mount the M2 this far back without a rail extension.
