I am AOWing my SP5K, Could I spend more than the gun, get the case and it be legal? What would I use a briefcase SP5K for anyway? What is the trigger weight on a briefcase?

Yep, $5 AOW stamp is what you need to put it in the case and operate it.

AOW Tax Stamp is $200 and the AOW Transfer is $5. If it's not already in the NFA Registry, then a Form 1 and $200 is what is needed to AOW or SBR it. If it's already in the NFA Registry, then the $5 applies.

I dont have a trigger pull gauge but its pretty heavy at least mine is and I like it that way for obvious reasons

I just got a briefcase. Looking into getting either the SP5K or Zenith. Due to the trigger mechanism, there are variations from what I have researched, mine will not work with ambi safeties. Someone posted a picture of a different trigger arm that does work with ambi safeties.

aren't they both tax stamps? one is the non-SOT 'making' tax and the other is the 'transfer' tax
