That is a case deflector. HK uses whats called a lens head rivet. I'm not sure what you have. I have snugged them up by setting the rivet heads on my steel work bench and got to the other side with a center punch and reset the rivet

Any other suggestions on getting the rivets tightened, I thought about the suggestion above but I can’t seem to get a position that’s not going mess up the finish. I would like to get this done before my stamp gets approved if it will involve sent to a gun smith to fix. I am going to put a A3 stock on this one so I am sure fitting it is gonna mess up the finish, perhaps this one will get a refinish with the stock so It perfectly matches.

This is a lens head rivet. All you’re really doing is flaring it outwards. Just put a piece of hard wood or a piece of leather under it. It’s just a couple of little taps with a small hammer

Well I gave it the college try, no dice, actually I think it worse🤣. So now gonna have a HK smith weld the rivets so we don’t have this issue, odds are that will require refinishing, oh well. It is what it is. Oh and the form 1 got approved this morning🤣🤣

That sucks, I wish it would have worked for you. Maybe it didn't have lens head rivets
