I found a ATI AT94 A2 carbine on Saturday in a LGS and put it on layaway as the price was right ($1,000 OTD). As I have been reading this model has the housing and stock attached in one piece and I was wondering if anyone has any experience if this is a pain to takedown and clean or any other difficulties. Does this require 922r compliant parts to mill out the bars preventing use of 30 round mags?

Yes to 922r prior to removal of bars. You can replace the one piece stock with a trigger housing and a new stock.

No. Not trying to be mean but search is your friend. This has been gone over extensively. Search MP5 922r. That should answer your questions.
