Barrel pressing question for the builders (Jeff, Joe, DJ, etc)

You guys all know I'm a Stoner platform guy, but I'm looking at the roller lock platform a lot lately and wondering about a lot of the details involved. So last night I was thinking about how critical bolt gap appears to be to the operation of the platform and how narrow the tolerance is and then started wondering how on earth a person can get within thousandths of an inch with a hydraulic press pushing the barrel into the trunnion. Can anyone explain to me how the barrel installation process works step by step in order to hit the proper bolt gap? Tried searching but I'm obviously not asking the question correctly because about the most useful piece of information I found was "Use a 12 ton press"

not good at typing but give a call..
LMAO Y'know I almost did just that without even posting a thread Jeff....you've always been very quick to say "Gimme a call" any time anyone has ever had any questions but I didn't want to just invite myself to do so. When is the best time to call? I don't want to bother you during work.
anytime Bro..
LOL!!! That's what I get hahahaha.....I tried to call and had to leave a voicemail. Hit me back when you get a chance brother I don't want to disturb your weekend.
